Yes, we do large Chickens or Cockerels, approximately 3kg+. We do not castrate or inject hormones, like with the traditional French Capon. We simply grow our birds longer and slower so they reach a larger size.

Once received remove it from it from its delivery packaging. Unwrap the pretty Pipers Farm paper. Place your meat on a plate or a wire rack in the bottom of the fridge. You want to allow the air to circulate around the meat and make sure you keep it nice and dry.
We recommend you cook your fresh Christmas meat within 4-5 days off storing it in the fridge.
We do not put any chemicals or preservatives in any of our products, so it’s best to store them in the freezer. All sausages and stuffings should be kept in the freezer or used within 3 days of being in the fridge.
It is vacuum-packed so leave it in the fridge until you are ready to eat it. Once opened, wrap in greaseproof paper (put new greaseproof paper if it gets wet) and consume within a week.
Yes, but you must consume it within 3-4 days as we do not put any preservatives in our stuffing.
Depending on your postcode and for most of the country, our last delivery date is 23rd December. Once you go through our online checkout, our handy calendar will display all available options.
We deliver to the whole of the UK mainland.
We can also deliver to the Highlands, the Channel Islands and other countries in the EU like Spain and France. Please do call us for a quote.

Yes, we do. We also operate our own local delivery van service for parts of the South West.
If you are a local customer we recommend you use our local van delivery service. If you are a national customer we recommend you use our pre-12 service. Due to the time of year and volume of parcels delivered we recommend you choose the earliest delivery option, so we have plenty of time to track your order.
No, we do all of this for you. We want to make your Christmas as simple as possible.
Unfortunately not. You can select our pre-12 service, however, we cannot give you timed delivery slots due to the volume of deliveries at this time of year.

No. We like to have a bit of time off over Christmas too! We will get everything safely to you before then.
No, we don’t quite make it that simple! All our meat requires home cooking.
NO! Our Turkeys do not need brining because of the breed we selected. We have chosen to rear Free Range Bronze birds, this is a typically slow-growing breed. We grow our birds slowly only ever feeding them a natural diet, this builds a wonderful texture in the meat. We hang every bird for 12 days to develop a fantastic flavour. This means there is absolutely no need to brine. You will have plenty of flavour and succulence in the meat naturally.
Here are some guidelines based on turkey size:
If you are stuffing your bird simply add the weight of the stuffing to the weight of your bird and calculate the total weight and cooking time. If you are stuffing the cavity add 1/2 an hour onto your cooking time and make sure you stuff it loosely.
All our Whole Free Range Bronze Turkey’s, Free Range Geese and Boned and Stuffed Turkeys come with cooking instructions in the box. Most other products have cooking instructions on our website, simply click on the cooking tab to reveal how to cook. You can also check our blog for lovely recipe ideas and tips. Or failing that, call us and we can talk you through how to cook any of our meat.
We do not take payments for orders until we have dispatched and weighed your order. We calculate the total cost of your order on exact weights because our products are completely free-range, which is why weights do vary. Once we have the total weight of your order we will charge your card. This is usually 48 hours before your order is due to be delivered.
Our email confirmations are only an approximate idea of cost. Until we have weighed your order we do not know the exact amount but we should never be very far out from the original price quotes.

Our last date for orders is Wednesday 16th December. Please do get your orders in as early as possible as every year we do sell out and once it’s gone, it’s gone!
