Join us this October from the 19th - 21st at the Dartmouth Food Festival in this beautiful seaside town on the South Hams coast, for a weekend of celebrating the very best in food and drink. The festival is set to be another corker of a weekend attracting more than 20,000 people to the town.
We will be there showcasing our grass-fed beef and lamb along with our properly free range chicken and duck, as well as our Saddleback pork. With firepits sizzling away to entice hungry festival-goers to our stand we will be showcasing to you, why we farm the way we do, in harmony with nature, and why that is vital to build a sustainable way of farming for now and future generations.
You can find us in Royal Avenue Gardens, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Don't forget to stop off in on our chef demo theatre, also located in Royal Avenue Gardens. You'll find renowned chefs showcasing their top tips and sharing their skills, creating beautiful dishes that you can make again at home.
This festival is free to attend for all.
Join Peter for our hands-on butchery masterclass to learn how to break down a wide range of Pipers Farm cuts to learn new skills to take home to use in your own kitchen.
Meat can often be a complex and confusing business, full of dishonesty and tricks amongst the trade. Just like everything we do here at Pipers Farm we believe in showing you every part of our process. After all, knowledge is power. We want to help you get the best out of the food we have carefully grown so every mouthful is a delight.
Our style of butchery is quite different to most other butchers you will find around the UK. When it comes to everything we do at Pipers Farm we put flavour first, this applies to our method of butchery too. We use a continental style of butchery that you're more likely to find in butchers shops around France and Italy.
Learn more about our butchery style over on our cuts guide.
This class is set to be very popular so we recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.

Clash of the Carnivores
Head to the 'Eat your words' yurt on Saturday the 20th to be part of a topic that is gripping the nation and the world by storm. Should we eat less meat? Peter will be taking part in a discussion alongside Tom Hunt, author of The Natural Cook: Eating the Seasons from root to fruit, James Whetlor, founder of Cabrito Goat meat as well as one of our favourite people, Shane Holland, founder of Slow Food UK, a fantastic organisation that champions and promotes the message for eating meat along with other foods that are cared for, taken time over and are ethical. This is bound to be popular so we would advise you book tickets for this event as soon as you can. More details can be found here.
The talk is from 11.15am - 12:15pm. Head to Dartmouth Food Festival’s website for more information on how to get there and what’s on over the course of the weekend.
