Grass Fed Beef Neck Steak
Our Grass Fed Beef Neck is a Pipers Farm secret weapon when it comes to the BBQ.
With similar structure to a ribeye, our Beef Neck Steak has melting fat laced throughout the joint, giving it a luxurious amount of flavour.
Wonderful licked with flames over a BBQ, our Grass Fed Beef Neck Steak is sure to be the centerpiece to any outdoor entertaining you will be doing this summer.
To get the best out of our Grass Fed Beef Neck, we love to cook it over a firepit, then sliced thinly, alongside spring salads and herby potatoes.
Each Beef Neck Steak weighs approximately 1kg.
Get a hot, heavy based pan or a hot griddle of a firepit and place the beef neck into it. Sear all sides of the beef until wonderful caramelised sear has formed all over. Reduce the heat under the pan to medium, or if you are cooking on a firepit, move to a medium-hot area on the griddle. Turn the beef neck every few minutes until the target core temperature of 52°c is reached.
Allow the beef neck steak to rest at room temperature for at least 15 minutes. Slice thinly and serve with your favourite spring salads.
When your meat arrives simply pop it into your freezer.
When you have chosen what you would like to eat, drop your items, still in their individual packaging into cool water and wait for 15 minutes until they are fully thawed. Once fully thawed remove the packaging and get cooking.
You can also gently thaw any items by leaving them in the fridge or at room temperature.
