Properly Free Range Spatchcock Chicken Breast
Our Properly Free Range Spatchcock Chicken Breast is the ideal ingredient for the BBQ. Wonderfully tender meat sits underneath gorgeously crispy skin, for an alfresco feast that is unlike any other.
Our skilled artisan butchers meticulously prepare each spatchcock chicken ready for you to quickly cook. By preparing the chicken in this way, the cooking time reduces significantly.
Our delicious Properly Free Range Spatchcock Chicken Breast can also be roasted in the oven and works exceptionally well with various marinades.
A Pipers Farm chicken lives twice the length of most other birds, foraging amongst our lush pasture and hedgerows.
In a hot pan or on the griddle of a firepit over medium heat, place the chicken breast in skin side down. Leave it until skin starts to crisp and turn a wonderful golden brown.
Once the skin is golden, turn over so that rib bones are against the heat. Cook the spatchcock breast over medium heat for about 15 - 20 minutes, until centre of breast is 55° on meat thermometer.
Alternatively, cover to cook in ‘enclosed heat’ for about 15 minutes.
A speedy and delicious supper for those lazy summer evenings.
When your meat arrives simply pop it into your freezer.
