QualityAbout
India has always played a big role in Grace Reagan's life having grown up eating and cooking Indian food. However it was whilst visiting India as a young adult that she fell madly in love with the country, the people and the food, returning every year since to visit the homes of generous hosts and to learn as much as she can about Indian cooking from the home cooks - the true masters of the subject.
After a brief spell as a tech entrepreneur in Silicon Valley, Grace decided to focus on her true passion - Indian food. She returned to London and turned her front door into an takeaway called SpiceBox. Word quickly spread and she began selling her curries at some of London’s top street food markets
Her dream was to open her very own curry house - drawing inspiration from both the British-Indian curry houses she grew up eating in, as well as the Indian home-cooking she had been so lucky to eat during her visits to India. Through a twist of fate and good luck, she met Alpesh, who was experienced in running restaurants and together they opened a curry house in Walthamstow. Since then they have gone onto launched their ready-made dahl pouches allowing their healthy and delicious dishes to be enjoyed at home.
