  • One of our favourite joints of our Native Breed Pork to cook, our boneless pork shoulder is packed full of sweet melting flavour, with a generous amount of fat that renders beautifully when cooked long and slow.

    The perfect cut for creating 'pulled pork', we recommend choosing a larger size piece as leftovers dolloped with sharp apple sauce create the most delicious treat after the main event.

  • Free Range Pork

  • Season the pork with sea salt and pepper, do not use any oil as you want to keep the skin dry. Place in a roasting or casserole dish.

    Set your oven to its hottest temperature and cook the pork shoulder for 15 minutes, until the skin has puffed up into the most beautiful crunchy crackling.

    Remove the shoulder from the oven and turn the temperature down to 150C.

    To the roasting dish add a pouch or two of our pure broth and a glass (or two) of wine.

    Pop the shoulder back into the oven and cook for four hours, until the meat has fallen apart.

  • All of our meat is delivered frozen ready to pop straight into your freezer, once defrosted these can be kept in the fridge for up to 3 days.

All Pipers Farm meat is blast frozen at the perfect moment, locking in important nutrients and guaranteeing it tastes amazing. We deliver everything to your door in sustainably sourced, recyclable packaging. Our properly free range meat is carefully wrapped in a fully home compostable, 100% British sheep's wool pouch to keep it in perfect condition during delivery. Should any of your meat thaw during delivery; you can safely refreeze it and keep it frozen for up to 6 months. When you're ready to cook up a feast, you can speedily defrost most of our meat in 15 minutes (larger joints take a little longer). Simply place the items still in their individual packaging into cool water and they will carefully thaw.
