Method Traditionale
£15.95
Autumn in a cup, this cider is full-bodied and golden in colour, reminiscent of golden leaves falling. A fantastic blend of 27 rare Devon varieties of apple, this cider is made using the method traditionale, creating a wonderfully rich and perfectly balanced drink.
Ripe apples mix with floral notes and hints of delicate floral combine with a wonderful champagne feel for the most perfectly golden drink.
Using the methode traditionale, this same method is used to produce fine sparkling wines like champagne. The resultant creation involved crisp, clean, dry sparkling ciders that are incredible on their own or with food.
Pair with unctuous pork dishes that require a bit of sweetness. An absolute feast for the senses.
750ml ABV 8.1%

QualityAbout
Polly and Matt seek out old orchards that they foster in Devon. Cultivating, nurturing and encouraging this precious habitat to thrive is central to their philosophy.
They work with farmers to help breathe life back into moribund orchards on their farms; to prevent further decline and the extinction of important local apple varieties.
These orchards act as a gene bank where trees have survived for a century or more unaided by chemicals such as fungicides. Their disease-resistant genes are an important resource that needs safeguarding for the future. Moreover, unlike commercial orchards, these orchards are rich in nationally rare species and an important home for diverse pollinators, birds & other wildlife.
90% of Devon's Traditional Orchards have been lost since WWII and 50% of those that remain are in poor condition due to a lack of incentive to manage them or replace fallen trees
It’s Polly and Matt’s mission to find and foster these ancient orchards, making them productive and bountiful, using their harvest to create some of the best cider in the country.
