  • A pale green, floral, soft and mouth-filling dry white. Deliciously crisp and with a clean refreshing fruitiness.

    Domaine St Hilaire were the pioneers of top quality grape farming in the Languedoc. They focused on single varietal wines (Merlot, Sauvignon etc) rather than the local ‘kitchen sink’ bulk wines.

    St Hilaire have always supported their ‘local’ white grape, Vermentino and helped to rescue its reputation. It had previously been grown primarily for distillation and is little known in the UK for that reason. However, with lots of TLC, keeping the yields low and re-planting in the correct soils, they have produced a superb, zingy dry white.

    Very fresh and zingy with masses of mouth-filling citrus (grapefruit) flavours with hints of ripe pear and almond.

    Ideal with all shellfish and white fish (although if you have a more ‘meaty’, richly flavoured fish such as turbot, sole or monkfish, you might want to consider the Chardonnay instead).

All Pipers Farm meat is blast frozen at the perfect moment, locking in important nutrients and guaranteeing it tastes amazing. We deliver everything to your door in sustainably sourced, recyclable packaging. Our properly free range meat is carefully wrapped in a fully home compostable, 100% British sheep's wool pouch to keep it in perfect condition during delivery. Should any of your meat thaw during delivery; you can safely refreeze it and keep it frozen for up to 6 months. When you're ready to cook up a feast, you can speedily defrost most of our meat in 15 minutes (larger joints take a little longer). Simply place the items still in their individual packaging into cool water and they will carefully thaw.
