The foundation of the whole Pipers Farm philosophy is built upon growing poultry sustainably, with the welfare of our animals at the forefront of how we farm.

Our whole properly free range ducks make for a very special meal. With just the right amount of delicious fat, our free-range ducks have a tender, juicy, pinky-coloured meat and a skin that crisps perfectly.

We put a lot of work into growing ducks in a sustainable and ethical manner. They grow in small flocks and waddle in pasture and water, scratching at grass looking for insects, swimming and paddling looking for fish - just as nature intended.

The result is duck meat that has a rich, sweet flavour and is easy to cook with because it isn't too fat.

How to cook a whole duck

We recommend cooking a whole duck for 1.5 hours at 180°C and allow to rest for at least 15 minutes before carving.
