We’ve partnered with the fantastic artisan distillers Dartmoor Whisky to offer a beautiful bundle to enjoy on Burns Night and beyond. One lucky winner will receive one of our much sought-after handmade haggis and a January meat box, alongside one of the first bottles of single malt Dartmoor Whisky, finally ready after three years in the barrel.

Meanwhile we have lovingly handmade a small batch of the finest haggis in the land using our 100% grass-fed lambs' offal, pastured Saddleback pigs' offal, suet, gluten-free oats and an array of beautiful herbs and spices - all wrapped up together in a natural ox bung. The winner will receive one haggis (serves 3-4) as well as a January meat box filled with our famously delicious grass-fed cuts.

Dartmoor Whisky

Dartmoor Whisky began as a dream 10 years ago, when a trip to Islay inspired a group of whisky enthusiasts to create the first single malt whisky distillery in south west England. They realised that Devon has many features in common with the famous whisky-producing island, with glorious barley grown on Dartmoor soil, moorland granite to filter the spring water, and incredible air quality and sea breezes to help the whisky’s maturation process. Founders Greg, Simon and Andrew headed to Cognac to source their beautiful antique copper still back in 2014, and started distilling their first batch in Bovey Tracey with Master Distiller Frank McHardy at the helm in 2017…and it’s finally ready! Pipers Farm

Pipers Farm in Devon, produces sustainably reared, native breed meat and sells direct to the customer. For 30 years we’ve been farming in harmony with nature, using regenerative techniques to nurture our countryside.

Our Red Ruby beef and Swaledale sheep are all reared on grass not grain, and we allow all our livestock to reach maturity at a natural rate. We have our own butchery and are known for our integrity in hanging meat in the traditional way, for weeks not days, rather than pushing it through to maximise profit. Together this produces the outstanding flavour and texture we are famed for. As we’ve grown we have built a network of small scale farms in the westcountry who share our values, so when you buy from us you are supporting sustainable farming practices and real family farms.

Competition Ts & Cs

Prize consists of 1 x Pipers Farm haggis, 1 x Pipers Farm January meat box and 1 x bottle of Dartmoor Whisky. We reserve the right to change meat box contents at any time due to supply. Entrants must be aged over 18 and resident in the UK. Closing date is 3pm 23/01/20. Winner will be notified same day of the competition closing date. Pipers Farm meat box and haggis will be delivered by courier on Saturday 25th January (Burns Night) before 12 noon. Dartmoor Whisky bottle will be delivered later in 2020 once bottled – we would do it before but it has not reached the legally required 3 year maturation until after March! Prizes will be delivered to a UK address only.
