Wyfe of Bath - Approx 250g
Taking its name from Chaucer's Canterbury Tales, this cheese is straight out of Old England. Succulent, nutty and creamy with a springy, semi-hard texture, this cheese brings to mind fresh English fields awash with buttercups and gloriously fruitful summer meadows.
With the change of seasons bringing a slight change in taste to this unique cheese, it is always sweet and rich and distinctly reminiscent to its Dutch cousin, Gouda.
Vintage Clothbound Cheddar - Approx 200g
Handcrafted using heritage starters by expert cheesemakers, this exquisite cheddar is clothbound and naturally matured, typically for 24 months.
A rich, intense cheese with huge depth of flavour, from umami to buttery, to salted caramel.
Tunworth - Approx 250g
This Camembert-style cheese needs no introduction. A genuine British cheese superstar, Tunworth can hold its own against anything France has to offer.
Made by Stacey Hedges and Charlotte Spruce in Hampshire, the soft mould-ripened cheese has been named Supreme Champion at the British Cheese Awards twice since it was first made in 2005. It is loved by cheese aficionados for its thin wrinkled rind and sweet flavour, which takes in vegetal notes.
