A magnificently rich, spicy and smoky tomato salsa made with chipotles in adobo and fresh coriander. 

Use as a dip for totopos (corn tortilla chips); with sour cream and guacamole to make nachos. Or spread sourdough toast with refried beans, Chipotle Salsa and cheese then grill to make Mexican molletes - delicious!

Approximately 260g    

Tomatoes (70%), onion, Chipotles in Adobo [chipotle chillies (5.4%), water, tomato paste, salt, sugar, onion, acetic acid], coriander (3.3%), lime juice, sea salt. Made in a factory that handles nuts, peanuts and sesame.

Store in a cool dry place and see use by date printed on each jar.

Dodie Miller founded Cool Chile in 1993 with a simple idea: to import a wide variety of the best dried chillies direct from Mexico, and to provide the UK with a whole new range of flavours for real Mexican cooking. There are certain warm, earthy flavours and smells that instantly transport you to Mexico and these are the tastes and spiced sensations Cool Chile wants to bring into the homes of people in the UK.

They began small, importing a handful of chilli varieties and selling them from our market stall, first in Portobello Market and then in Borough. While travelling in Mexico, they researched, tested, tasted  and when they got home began to produce their own salsas, sauces and pastes, faithfully made using traditional Mexican recipes and delicious imported chillies.

Today they’re still importing dried chillies, herbs and masa harina directly from Mexico where the flavour and quality is second to none. All their products are shipped by sea so as to leave as small a carbon foot print as possible.
