About our Christmas Oak Smoked Saddleback Ham

Our legendary cooked Saddleback is back just in time for Christmas. 

Our stunning saddleback gammon is traditionally brine-cured, air dried and then gently smoked for 12 hours. Once this process is complete we slowly cook for around 9 hours until our ham becomes melting and delicious.

All you need to do is slice and tuck in!

We recommend for extra Christmas indulgence you choose one of our delicious glazes to finish off your ham. Simply pour the gloopy glaze over the top of the ham and bake in the oven for 10 minutes per kilo to finish of your festive centrepiece. 

Our hams are all cut by hand so weights are not absolutely precise.

We recommend 5 portions per kg. 


Your ham will arrive fresh and ready to eat. Store in the fridge and consume by use by date.

Notes from the kitchen

Our Christmas Ham is ready to eat. Simply remove from its packaging and slice.

If you would like to glaze your ham, simply choose your glaze from 'the trimmings' section.

Preheat an oven to 180C.

Score the top of the fat covered ham, being careful to not cut the flesh.

Pour over the glaze using one to two tubs, depending on the size of your ham.

Place the ham in the preheated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes per kg, or until the glaze has nicely caramelised.
