British, Free Range chicken is cooked slowly in a medium spiced coconut masala sauce with a good dose of curry leaves, tamarind and garam masala - sweetened up with a little jaggery.

We love how balanced the dish is; the richness of the cream cuts through the heat of the spices and the acid of the tomatoes, and the chicken, wonderfully, never dries out. Put down that phone - this is so much better than ordering in.

When our friends Sam and Elliot Day founded FieldGoods they wanted to bring responsibly sourced, delicious ingredients to your table. They believe in an ethos of field, freezer and fork, combining  the best ingredients from trusted producers with ultimate convenience. 

The trays and sleeves of FieldGoods meals are made from responsibly sourced plant-based materials, so they can be chucked onto your compost pile or into your food bin, and will become plant food before you know it. You can also give them a wash and pop them in your recycling.

British Free Range Chicken, Plum Tomato, Onions, Double Cream (DAIRY), Natural Yoghurt (DAIRY), Coriander Leaves, Garlic (SULPHATES), Olive Pomace Oil Blend, Unsalted Butter (DAIRY), Tomato Purée, Toasted Coconut Shavings, Ginger, Cardamom Pods, Green, Garam Masala, Coriander, Cumin, Jaggery, Chilli Powder, Smoked Paprika, Turmeric, Ground Cinnamon.

Made in a kitchen that handles; nuts, soya, gluten, fish, celery, mustard, sulphates. 

Although every care has been taken to remove bones, some may remain.

To Cook in the Oven

We recommend cooking from frozen.

Preheat the oven to Fan 170 ºC / Electric 190 ºC / Gas 5. 

Remove the outer cardboard sleeve and pierce the film. Place on a baking tray and position in the centre of the oven. Cook for 40 – 45  mins. Leave to stand for 2 minutes and stir well before serving.

To Microwave

We recommend cooking from frozen.

Remove the sleeve and pierce the film. Heat on full power. 850W. Heat for 4 mins then stir well. Cover and leave to stand for 2 minutes.

For 2 Portions

To Cook in the Oven

We recommend cooking from frozen.

Preheat the oven to Fan 170 ºC / Electric 190 ºC / Gas 5. 

Remove the outer cardboard sleeve and pierce the film. Place on a baking tray and position in the centre of the oven. Cook for 50 – 55  mins. Leave to stand for 2 minutes and stir well before serving.

To Microwave

We recommend cooking from frozen.

Remove the sleeve and pierce the film. Heat on full power. 850W. Heat for 6 mins then stir well. Cover and leave to stand for 3 minutes.

Please be careful, steam may be released when removing the film lid. 

All appliances vary, these are guidelines only. Ensure food is piping hot before serving.

FieldGoods meals will arrive frozen and should be stored in the freezer. If they have thawed slightly during their journey they are absolutely fine to place in the freezer. 

Once fully defrosted, store in the fridge and eat within 48 hours.

We deliver everything to your door in sustainably sourced, recyclable packaging. Our properly free range meat is carefully wrapped in a fully home compostable, 100% British sheep's wool pouch to keep it in perfect condition during delivery. Should any of your meat thaw during delivery; you can safely refreeze it and keep it frozen for up to 6 months. When you're ready to cook up a feast, you can speedily defrost most of our meat in 15 minutes (larger joints take a little longer). Simply place the items still in their individual packaging into cool water and they will carefully thaw.
