About our Saddleback Hogs Pudding
A really delicious speciality hailing from Devon. At Pipers Farm we're proud to maintain the tradition of hog's pudding. Our recipe is simple, wholesome and made with all-natural ingredients.
Coarse-ground pork mince and pork fat are bound with a little pearl barley and seasoned with white pepper, mace and sea salt. The result is a hearty, meaty pudding that's packed full of flavour - this is comfort food at its very best.
Perfect as part of a traditional cooked breakfast, hog's pudding is a great alternative for those who don't fancy black pudding.
Our hogs pudding is made by our friends at the Rusty Pig, just a stone's throw away from our farm.
Each slice weighs approximately 150g.

Your meat will arrive frozen.
When your meat arrives simply pop it into your freezer.
There is a minimum order value of £30 for all orders. Delivery is available in the UK, including Scottish highlands, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and Northern Ireland.
Notes from the kitchen
Ensure the hogs pudding is fully defrosted.
Place a cast iron pan on a moderate heat. Place the hogs pudding in the pan and cook on each side for around two minutes.
Slice and serve as part of a full English breakfast.
Alternatively bake in a preheated oven set to 180C for 10 minutes.
