  • Our purely grass-fed Venison Heart is full of incredible nutrients like B vitamins and Omega 3, it is also naturally higher in; protein, thiamine, folate, selenium, phosphorus, zinc and is a great way to rack up amino acids that can improve metabolism. 

    Simply pan fry like you would a steak, for a delicious feast.

    As recommended by The Times “Other online meat suppliers will struggle to match the variety of venison cuts on offer at Pipers Farm: venison osso bucco, venison heart, venison liver — a punchy bit of offal with strong flavours— as well as more obvious cuts such as haunch and a stunning saddle fillet.”

    Each Venison heart weighs approximately 450g.

  • Venison

  • Defrost the heart by placing it into a bowl of cool water (still in its packaging). It should thaw in approximately 10 minutes. Once thawed, remove the heart from its packaging and dry all over using a kitchen towel. 

    Slice the heart into stir fry strips. Season well with good quality pure Sea Salt. 

    Add a little Beef Dripping or Ghee to a cast iron pan and take to a medium-high heat. Add the strips of beef heart to the pan and quickly stir fry. Cooking for around 3-4 minutes in total. 

    Serve and eat straight away, while still hot.

We deliver everything to your door in sustainably sourced, recyclable packaging. Our properly free range meat is carefully wrapped in a fully home compostable, 100% British sheep's wool pouch to keep it in perfect condition during delivery. Should any of your meat thaw during delivery; you can safely refreeze it and keep it frozen for up to 6 months. When you're ready to cook up a feast, you can speedily defrost most of our meat in 15 minutes (larger joints take a little longer). Simply place the items still in their individual packaging into cool water and they will carefully thaw.
