Pipers Farm scoop coveted Food Drink Devon awards

Last week, we had the pleasure of attending the 13th Food Drink Devon awards ceremony, held at Sandy Park Conference Stadium, Exeter. The awards celebrate the very best Devon has to offer by recognising the county's most respected, influential and passionate artisan food and drink producers and establishments. 

It was a lovely evening, with fabulous food and drink, lots of familiar faces in the crowds and the lovely opportunity to mingle with new friends. Most excitingly, the Pipers Farm team came away with not one, not two, but three awards that we are so proud to take pride of place on our trophy shelf! 

Our 100% Grass Fed Boneless Rib of Beef was voted the Best Food Product of 2024, with the judging panel remarking on "the tender, meaty, succulent, melt-in-your-mouth" qualities of the joint, which had previously won Platinum in the Food Product category. 

Our Natural Pork Sausages were enjoyed just as much, and scooped a Gold award in the Food Product category. 

Lyndsay Coombes, Business Development Manager here at Pipers Farm says: "We’re thrilled with our awards; it goes to show that you really can taste the difference when meat is produced slowly, sustainably and in harmony with nature. We were delighted to see many of our suppliers winning on the Producer list, including Sharpham Dairy and Swanaford. Well done to everyone!"
