Here at Pipers Farm, we are proud to farm in harmony with nature. That means ensuring our native breed beef embrace their native landscape and a 100% grass fed diet. Ruminant animals have a digestive system designed to process grass and forage and are less able to digest cereals, so we believe cattle thrive when they only ever consume grass.
Kefir is a type of fermented yoghurt. It’s high in protein, low in fat and packed with nutrients, including beneficial microbes, which are important for gut health.
Some studies show that grass fed butter offers more health benefits than non-grass fed butter, including lower levels of saturated fats and higher levels of unsaturated fats. This is due to the dairy cattle enjoying a pure pasture diet, rather than a diet including grains.
