Created using the traditional method, this elegantly sparkling salmon-pink wine has a fine mousse. Bursting with bright summer fruits, and just a hint of citrus, this wine is perfectly paired with canapés at any dinner party or any creamy cheese board. For bottles with corks, be sure to store your wine horizontally in a wine rack. Keeping wine on its side helps keep the cork moist, which is key for long-term storage, as a dried out cork can cause seepage and premature aging.
While it’s not necessary to keep screw top wine bottles on their sides, horizontal storage is nevertheless an efficient way to store your wines for maximum space and easy access.

Winding it's way through the depths of Devon lies the fortuitous Teign Valley, home to wooded hills, pasture fields and grassy meadows. It is also home to Swanaford Estate, a small, family-run vineyard producing some of the best sparkling and still wines in the South West. Using grapes grown on their south east-facing slopes, they are producing Champagne clones of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier as well as easy-drinking wines to great success.
Swanaford is the fruits of the labour of husband and wife team, Caroline and Ben, who returned to the county in 2013 from London with the great ambition of making great English sparkling and still wines. A steep learning curve from their life in London, they went to work learning their vinicultures from their viticultures and slowly began the terrifying job of nurturing their 10,000 plants into well-trained, productive vines.
It is these leaps of faith that fantastic English wines are being created. Through Ben & Caroline's hard graft and nurturing, their vines are producing outstanding products that are grown carefully by treating the land and the grapes with respect. Over the past 7 years, Swanaford has gotten bigger and better year on year, so much so that in 2017 a bespoke tasting barn was built on the estate, providing a fantastic event space for the public to come and learn about the challenges of growing grapes in Devon as well as to taste the wines. Moving forward, Swanaford look to grow their vineyard and continue collaborating with like-minded local food heroes as well as providing a whole range of experiences for their visitors such as summer feasts and wellness weekends. It's a slice of wine heaven down here in the South West, and we're so excited to be collaborating with them.
