Pavé Cobble is a stunning looking cheese with a distinctive truncated shape and an ash dusted rind. Pavé Cobble is made by Somerset's famous White Lake Dairy.
The light ash coating creates the geotrichum rind leaving a subtle peppery undertone. As it ages, the grey colour develops into blues and green tones.
It's a beautiful and delicious addition to any cheese board with initial flavours of sweet cream followed by nutty notes and a soft tasting, rich, opulent and smooth flavour.
Pavé Cobble develops more complexity when aged and is delightful when paired with a good bottle of wine.

Unpasturised Goats' Milk (MILK), Salt, Microbial Rennet, Dairy Cultures, Vine Leaves.

How to store
Usually despatched with 7 days shelf life.
Store in the fridge.
It is necessary to apply a common sense approach to cheese care and respond to the cheese you have in front of you, as opposed to following rigid guidelines.
The best option is to keep the cheese wrapped in its waxed paper within a box in the fridge. The container will help to prevent the cheese from drying out and prevent the cheese from absorbing flavours.
For best flavour, bring to room temperature one hour before serving.
If freezing, freeze on day of delivery. Defrost in the fridge. Once defrosted, keep refrigerated and use within 24hrs.
