Why we love this
Product details
Taking its name from Chaucer's Canterbury Tales, this cheese is straight out of Old England. Succulent, nutty and creamy with a springy, semi-hard texture, this cheese brings to mind fresh English fields awash with buttercups and gloriously fruitful summer meadows.
With the change of seasons bringing a slight change in taste to this unique cheese, it is always sweet and rich and distinctly reminiscent to its Dutch cousin, Gouda.
Like its character counterpart, allow this cheese to take centre stage on your table. Pair with a golden white and kick back and relax with your favourite book - perhaps a bit of Chaucer?
