This loaf is no compromise, no it doesn’t taste like cardboard and no it isn’t packed full of a list of ingredients you would rather not eat. Instead, this loaf is full of the good stuff, made primarily from sorghum flour (a plant based flour) and teff flour (one of the world’s smallest gluten free grains). Loaded with fibrous seeds, chia seeds, flax seeds and with the addition of chickpea sourdough and nutritious psyllium husks this loaf is a great healthy alternative for everyone.
This loaf is nicknames named 'GiFt'. It is our gift to you but primarily through this loaf Hobb's House are able to give bread to children in Tanzania. They have been working alongside the charity Ifakara Bakery Project. Through a bakery set up in Ifakara, bread is donated to malnourished children.
This loaf is made in a dedicated gluten free bakery.
This bread will keep up to 2 days from delivery if stored in a cool dry place, but it is at it's best within a day of arrival, or perfect for toast after 2 days.

Established in 1920 in the Cotswolds, Hobbs House Bakery is a true family business and is proud to have five generations of baking experience. As they are now bringing up the sixth generation of aspiring bakers they are now producing an exceptional range of high quality breads, pastries and confectionery. Known for being born with ‘flour on their fingers’, the Hobbs House bakery team are able to bring their ingrained passion for baking bread into work everyday, creating fantastic products out of classic ingredients.
In our modern times, Hobbs House prides itself on using traditional techniques with simple ingredients - their 65-year old sourdough starter is a living, breathing organism that has been fed daily for this incredibly long time. It really does make a difference that you can taste within their loaves - years and years of knowledge, experience and hard work goes into each and every loaf. Using traditional methods, their team of expert bakers are continuing to produce an exceptional range of award winning bread, pastries and sweets to the very highest of standards.
