      • Beneath the white wrinkly rind is a dense, ultra-creamy interior with a moreish lactic tang. It’s wonderfully dense and rich, and has a mouthfeel not unlike butter. With an earthy aroma on the nose, at first you’ll detect hints of yoghurt and grassy sweetness on the palate, which then unfurl into toasty notes.

        This sweet little organic cheese makes a wonderful addition to a cheeseboard. 

        Bix, named after the village where the organic herd grazes, is a soft, pasteurised, triple cream cheese. It bears a passing resemblance to the French cheese Chaource, but also has its own unique personality.

        Approximately 100g

      • Pasteurised Organic Cow's Milk (MILK), Double Cream (MILK), Starter Cultures, Animal Rennet, Salt.

        Not suitable for Vegetarians.

      • Usually despached with 7 days shelf life.

        Store in the fridge.

        It is necessary to apply a common sense approach to cheese care and respond to the cheese you have in front of you, as opposed to following rigid guidelines.

        The best option is to keep the cheese wrapped in its waxed paper within a box in the fridge. The container will help to prevent the cheese from drying out and prevent the cheese from absorbing flavours.

        For best flavour, bring to room temperature one hour before serving. 

        If freezing, freeze on day of delivery. Defrost in the fridge. Once defrosted, keep refrigerated and use within 24hrs.

      All Pipers Farm meat is blast frozen at the perfect moment, locking in important nutrients and guaranteeing it tastes amazing. We deliver everything to your door in sustainably sourced, recyclable packaging. Our properly free range meat is carefully wrapped in a fully home compostable, 100% British sheep's wool pouch to keep it in perfect condition during delivery. Should any of your meat thaw during delivery; you can safely refreeze it and keep it frozen for up to 6 months. When you're ready to cook up a feast, you can speedily defrost most of our meat in 15 minutes (larger joints take a little longer). Simply place the items still in their individual packaging into cool water and they will carefully thaw.
