      • Stunning and indulgent, our Grass Fed Rib of Beef the bone evokes a real sense of old-fashioned feasting and is probably the most impressive of all beef cuts.

If you're looking for a knock-out celebration centrepiece you can be assured that a grass fed rib of beef will take centre stage.

With plenty of fat running through the joint to keep it soft, our Grass Fed Forerib of Beef has an old-fashioned depth of flavour that can only be described as 'properly beefy'.

Our 2 Bone Grass Fed Rib of Beef is prepared chined and beautifully presented ready for you to pop straight in the oven.

Our fabulous Rib of Beef has picked up many awards over the years, including the prestigious 1 star in the Great Taste Awards.

"Good looking joint, with a good size of colour, a good proportion of fat to lean - and the fat is a very nice colour. It cuts beautifully."

"An attractive joint, cuts well and has a very tender texture with a pleasing flavour."

As all our Grass Fed Beef is naturally reared, weights are not absolutely precise.

      • To defrost the Rib of Beef remove it from the freezer and take off all the packaging. Leave it on your kitchen worktop for one day and overnight. Alternatively, place the Rib in the fridge and allow it to gently thaw for 2-3 days.

Before cooking allow the joint to reach room temperature and pat dry.

Preheat the oven to 220oC/425oF/Gas Mark 7.

Season the Rib of Beef generously with good sea salt and freshly ground black pepper.

Place the Beef into a roasting tin surrounded by onions, garlic and a vegetable trivet.

Roast at 220oC for 20 minutes, then turn down the oven to 160oC and roast for 30 minutes per kg.

Using a meat thermometer, you are aiming for an internal temperature of 50o–55oC for medium rare or 60oC if you like it cooked for a little longer.

Rest for 20 minutes in a warm place before carving.

Rib of Beef with Bashed Celeriac, Braised Shallots & Horseradish Gremolata

Beef and horseradish make a classic combination, this time we've served this pairing with a twist on the traditional sauce and instead replaced it with this rather refreshing, yet fiery gremolata.
