A wonderfully flavourful cut of our properly free range turkey. The turkey leg makes such a delicious wholesome meal. Our free range turkey legs are delicious; roasted, turned into confit, or slow cooked in a casserole. 

Our traditional Bronze Turkeys live a properly free-range life, living significantly longer than most other free-range and organic birds.

Our slow-growing Bronze Turkeys spend the summer roaming freely on the farm, only ever eating a totally natural diet of straightforward cereals, grass forage and cider apples.

All our Bronze Turkeys are plucked by hand and hung for 12 days to develop the most wonderful flavour that we have become famous for.

Your meat will arrive frozen.

When your meat arrives simply pop it into your freezer.
When you have chosen what you would like to eat, drop your items, still in their individual packaging into cool water and wait for 15 minutes until they are fully thawed. Once fully thawed remove the packaging and get cooking.

You can also gently thaw any items by leaving them in the fridge or at room temperature.

Notes from the kitchen

Preheat the oven to 180C.

Place the turkey leg in a roasting dish and season the skin.

Roast uncovered for 1 hour per kg until the legs are golden brown and the internal temperature is 75C.

Leave to rest for 10 minutes before serving.
