  • Well flavoured with a distinctive grain, our Grass Fed Beef Rump Tail is perfect for those who like a bit of character in their beef.

    Our Grass Fed Rump Tail is best cooked fast and hot. Rump Tail is most suited to cooking on the barbecue. The smokey caramelisation of carefully charred meat complements the rich beefy flavour of this interesting cut. 

    Each rump tail weighs approx 750g.

  • 100% Grass Fed Beef

  • Take a cast iron pan and place over a high heat. 

    Season the rump tail all over with pure sea salt and pepper.

    Once the pan is smoking hot add a little beef dripping and place the rump tail into the centre of the pan. 

    Sear and caramelise the rump tail all over. 

    Turn the heat down and keep turning the rump tail every couple of minutes. 

    The rump tail is cooked when the centre of the joint reaches 47C.

    Leave to rest for 15 minutes and slice thinly.
