      • Using the whole animal is so important to us at Pipers Farm - we don't believe that anything should go to waste.

Of all the culinary activities we've lost touch with, making pure, authentic stock from bones is one we'd especially like to rekindle everyone's passion for. So simple, so satisfying and so much better than processed cubes, powders or jellies. Proper bones make a stock that has a unique depth of flavour and is packed with nourishing vitamins and minerals.

Our Venison stock bones are full of gelatinous marrow that is so nourishing and delicious.

A simple stock can form the basis for outstanding gravies, broths, soups and casseroles.

Please be aware that from time to time the bones can puncture their packaging. When you come to defrost them it is best to place the bones into a bowl to catch and liquid.

      • Wild British Venison.

      • In a ceramic or cast iron pan place all the venison bones. Pour over the water until it just covers the bones.

Simmer for at least 2 hours, or longer depending on your requirement. You may need to top up the water during this time.

Skin the top of the broth and pour into sterilised jam jars.

        Season depending on taste.

      • All of our meat is delivered frozen ready to pop straight into your freezer, once defrosted these can be kept in the fridge for up to 3 days.
