  • Our beautifully prepared Free Range Boneless Turkey Leg makes a wonderful festive alternative to larger roasts. This easy carving option is great for those who love the flavoursome brown meat of our traditional Properly Free Range turkey.

    Turkey leg is a seriously flavourful cut and can be cooked in a variety of ways, it IS delicious roasted, turned into confit, or even slow cooked in a casserole, the options are endless.

    Our team of artisan butchers have meticulously prepared the turkey leg, removing the bone and beautifully tying it so it is ready for you to cook using your favourite recipe. 

    Our slow-growing Bronze Turkeys spend the summer roaming freely on the farm, only ever eating a totally natural diet of straightforward cereals, grass forage and cider apples. All our Free Range Bronze Turkeys are plucked by hand and hung for 12 days to develop the most wonderful flavour that we have become famous for. 

  • 100% British Free Range Turkey. 

  • Once thawed, remove the turkey leg from its packaging and allow it to reach room temperature before cooking. 

    Preheat the oven to 180°/350°F/Gas Mark 5

    Place the turkey leg into a roasting tin, and season the skin. 

    Place into the oven and roast for 45 minutes. 

    When cooked, the skin will be evenly browned allover and if you pierce the flesh the juices will run clear. 

    Once cooked, remove Turkey Leg and cover loosely with foil and allow to rest at room temperature for 15 mins. 

  • We deliver our Properly Free Range Turkey Leg blast frozen ready for you to pop it straight into the freezer until you are ready to use it. 

    To thaw the turkey leg, remove it from the freezer and leave it in its packaging. Pop it onto a plate and place in the fridge leaving it to thaw for 24 hours. 

    Once thawed, remove the turkey leg from its packaging and place on a wire rack or a plate at the bottom of the fridge. 

    Make sure you leave space around the turkey leg to allow the air to circulate and ensure it stays dry.

    We recommend you leave your meat at room temperature for a few hours before cooking.

We deliver everything to your door in sustainably sourced, recyclable packaging. Our properly free range meat is carefully wrapped in a fully home compostable, 100% British sheep's wool pouch to keep it in perfect condition during delivery. Should any of your meat thaw during delivery; you can safely refreeze it and keep it frozen for up to 6 months. When you're ready to cook up a feast, you can speedily defrost most of our meat in 15 minutes (larger joints take a little longer). Simply place the items still in their individual packaging into cool water and they will carefully thaw.
