  • Our Grass Fed Ribeye Steak is a celebration of quality and care. Sourced from our 100% grass-fed, slow-grown native breed cattle, this steak is reared on natural pastures that allow the beef to develop a rich, complex flavour and exceptional tenderness. The meticulous rearing and ageing process ensures that every steak delivers a deep, beefy taste that’s truly a cut above conventional beef.

Our Ribeye Steaks is one of the most popular steaks we sell and it's no wonder, the rich beefy flavour of the meat is incased with moreish fat that crisps and renders in the pan - resulting in a sublime steak.

Once hung on the bone for four weeks, the depth of flavour and sweet tender meat of our Grass Fed Ribeye Steak is something pretty special.

Whether grilled, pan-seared, or cooked on the BBQ, our Grass Fed Ribeye Steak is designed to impress, offering the most amazing caramelised fat and smokey flavour. A truly memorable, flavour-packed experience.

Choose from 200g or 300g steaks.

  • Defrost the steaks by placing them into a bowl of cool water (still in their packaging). They should thaw in less than 10 minutes. Once thawed, remove the steaks from their packaging and dry them all over using a kitchen towel. Season well with good quality pure Sea Salt.

Take a castiron pan and heat it until it is very hot. Without adding any oil, place the steak in the centre of the pan.

Cook on one side for three minutes.

Turn over and cook on the other side for three minutes, until the juices start to appear.

Cook for a total of six minutes, then rest uncovered for at least 10 minutes.

  • All of our meat is delivered frozen ready to pop straight into your freezer, once defrosted these can be kept in the fridge for up to 3 days.

Why is Native Breed Meat so Important?

At Pipers Farm, we believe in the power of native breed meat to deliver exceptional flavour, texture, and sustainability. Native breeds, like our 100% grass-fed cattle, are reared to thrive in their natural environment, producing leaner, more flavourful meat. This approach promotes biodiversity, supports local farming communities, and ensures the welfare of the animals. Native breeds have evolved for centuries as part of their ‘terroir’, they are hardy and well equipped to deal with the climate, soil, disease and the food source available where they are grown. Frequently Asked Questions for Grass Fed Beef Ribeye Steak

For the best grass-fed ribeye, start by bringing the steak to room temperature. Season generously with sea salt and cook in a hot pan or over a grill for a rich, caramelised crust. Sear for 2-3 minutes per side for medium-rare, adjusting for your preferred finish. Rest for at least 5 minutes before slicing to keep it tender and juicy.
Ribeye steak is a tender and flavourful boneless cut of beef, taken from the rib section of the cow. Known for its rich marbling of fat, ribeye steaks are juicy and full of intense beefy flavour. This cut is well-loved for its melt-in-your-mouth texture and ability to stay juicy when cooked.
