  • Introducing the Grass Fed Beef Frankfurter from Fowlescombe Rate and Pasture Ltd,  a premium twist on the classic American hot dog.

These gluten-free, Organic and Grass Fed frankfurters are made the old-fashioned way, using finely chopped meat from native breed, Grass Fed Beef paired. The artisan frankfurters are slowly smoked over beech and apple wood, to provide a refined and well-balanced flavour that will satisfy the most discerning of palates.

These Organic Beef Frankfurters can be pan-fried on the hob, or for extra smokey flavour try cooking them over lumpwood charcoal or logs on the barbecue.

Load up on all your favourite hot dog toppings and enjoy guilt-free hotdogs.

Each pack arrived frozen ready to pop straight in your freezer, so you can savour them at your own pace. Once opened, they're best consumed within 3 days. Do not refreeze once defrosted.

6 Frankfurters per pack. Total weight approximately 240g.

  • Native Breed, Grass Fed Beef, Filtered Water, Sea Salt, Linseed, Ginger, Mace, Garlic, Pepper, *Natural Sheep
    Casing, Antioxidant: Sea Buckthorn.

  • To cook from fresh or defrosted:

To defrost the sausages remove from the freezer and leave on your kitchen worktop for a couple of hours. Or pop the plastic pack into cool water and leave to thaw for 10-15 minutes.

Put about half a centimetre of water and a knob of butter into a frying pan and place on medium heat. Add the frankfurter to the pan and cook for about six minutes until heated through, turning occasionally. Don’t let the water dry out.

Alternatively, cover your frankfurter with a paper towel and heat on medium in a microwave, allowing 40 to 50 seconds for each sausage. Or prick the packet, place it in microwave and heat for 3 minutes to 3 minutes 30 seconds.

    To cook on the BBQ:

Defrost the frankfurters and place on the grill away from any direct flames. Cook over the coals, turning regulary, for around 4-6 minutes.
