This artisan pumpernickel loaf is made by grinding the whole rye berry and baking it very slowly until it caramelises, providing the bread with a distinctive sweet flavour and deep colour.
Packed with grain, seeds and fruit, it is a hearty, dense and slightly sweet loaf. Just as delicious sliced and eaten as bread, as it is toasted and slathered with butter.
Enjoy as an alternative to your morning tea and toast, or top with cream cheese and smoked trout as a tempting festive appetiser.
This product is ready to eat once defrosted. However, for optimum enjoyment we recommend toasting and serving with plenty of butter.
This product will arrive frozen. If it has thawed slightly during its journey it is absolutely fine to place in the freezer.
Once fully defrosted, store in a cool, dry place and consume within 4 days.
