  • Much beloved by the French, Entrecôte Steak benefits from the most wonderful fine-grained texture. 

    With beautiful marbling throughout, our 100% Grass Fed Entrecôte Steak is perfect for those who don't like to eat fat.

    Fine-grained and exceptionally tender, this indulgent cut deserves to take centre stage alongside a rich, earthy bottle of really good red wine. 

    Each steak weighs approximately 200g.

  • 100% Grass Fed Beef

  • Defrost the steaks by placing them into a bowl of cool water (still in their packaging). They should thaw in less than 10 minutes. 

    Once thawed, remove the steaks from their packaging and dry them all over using a kitchen towel. 

    Season well with good quality pure sea salt. 

    Take a hot castiron pan, without adding any oil, place the steak in the centre of the pan and cook for two minutes on one side.

    Turn the steak over and cook for two on the other side. 

    Turn over again and cook for a further two and a half minutes, flipping over onto each side to get a good amount of caramelisation onto the steak. You could also baste the steak at this point. 

    Rest the steak uncovered for 10 minutes before serving.

How we rear our 100% Grass Fed Beef

Our native breed cattle are slowly grown to maturity, reaching 31-36 months of age. Once slaughtered, each carcass is hung on the bone for up to four weeks, to develop a wonderfully rounded depth of flavour. These combined approaches enables us to achieve consistent taste, texture and marbling that we are renowned for.
