Made with a blend of British-grown peas, beans and barley, this mix is a great source of protein, fibre, and essential nutrients. The natural, earthy flavours of the grains infuse any dish, creating a satisfying, hearty base for your homemade soups, stews, and broths.

    Easy to prepare, simply soak and cook the mix to create a delicious and nourishing broth that can be enjoyed on its own or used as a base for your favourite recipes.

  • Wholegrain Emmer Wheat, Olive Green Lentils, Green Split Peas, Yellow Split Peas, Split Fava Beans, Marrowfat Peas, Barley Flakes 

    Contains Gluten.

  • To prepare the Hodmedods Broth Mix, soak the grains overnight in water to soften them, then drain and rinse thoroughly. 

    After soaking, simmer the grains in fresh water or vegetable broth for 45-60 minutes, or until they are tender. Season to taste with herbs, salt, and pepper, and feel free to add extra vegetables or beans for added flavour and texture. 

    Once cooked, you can use the broth as a hearty base for soups, stews, or serve it as a nutritious side dish.

  • Keep the Broth Mix in a cool, dry place, sealed in its original packaging. Once opened, store in an airtight container and consume within 6 months for best results.
