Savour our bacon-wrapped sausage delights, affectionately known as Pigs in Blankets.
These small but mighty festive bites are a true crowd-pleaser, and has become something of a Christmas classic.
Our award-winning Pigs in Blankets are made by hand in our artisan Butchery. Simply our 100% natural, gluten-free sausages, wrapped in our traditionally cured, unsmoked streaky bacon.
The perfect addition to every festive feast, Pigs in Blankets are wonderfully versatile - why not serve as part of a grazing board, or as a component of Boxing Day breakfast or brunch?

Free Range Pork, Free Range Pork Fat, Gluten Free Oats*, Water, Salt, Black Pepper, Natural Sheep Skin Casings, Free Range Unsmoked Streaky Bacon (Pork, Salt, Demerara Sugar & Preservative (E250,E252)).
*Oats used in our products are gluten-free and have been specially produced,prepared and processed in a way to avoid contamination by cereals containing gluten.

Our sausages can be cooked from frozen.
To cook from frozen:
Preheat a fan assisted oven to 180C.
Remove all packaging and split the sausages, being careful not to tear them. If they don't all split apart, you can detach them half way through cooking.
Place on a baking tray lined with a baking sheet and into the preheated oven. Cook for around 30 minutes, until they are golden brown.
To cook from fresh or defrosted:
To defrost the sausages remove from the freezer and leave on your kitchen worktop for a couple of hours. Remember our sausages do not contain any preservatives, so we recommend you cook them within 2 days of defrosting them for best results.
Take a castiron pan and bring to a medium heat. To the pan add a little ghee or lard, to lightly grease the pan.
Add the sausages to the pan and roll around in the fat to caramalise them. Do this for around 10 minutes, or until all of the sausages are golden brown.

All of our meat is delivered frozen ready to pop straight into your freezer, once defrosted these can be kept in the fridge for up to 3 days.

They taste absolutely gorgeous. I no sooner buy them and they’ve gone. Grandchildren adore them Have a load in freezer and about to order a load more to last into the new year. They should be available all year. The turkey and bacon sausages last year are a 2nd best to PIB’s but unfortunately they are not making them this year.
