Make your week-night suppers super simple with our pizza dough balls. Our freshly frozen, 100% natural, pizza dough rolls are so easy to make and are made with the finest stoneground flour and 63-year-old starter.
This is homemade pizza at its best, roll out the dough until about a cm thick then top with lashings of your favourite tomato sauce, thick slabs of soft mozzarella and any other topping that you desire. We like ours topped with cooked chicken, smokey bacon and savoury blue cheese.
Utterly divine and ready for the dinner table quicker than you can say "Pizza Dough Balls".
x4 dough balls per pack
Flour (GLUTEN), Water, Sourdough Starter (GLUTEN).
Line a baking tray with greaseproof paper and evenly place the frozen sourdough balls. Cover in a loose covering such as a teatowel or a bag and leave to prove in the fridge for around 10 hours.
Remove from the fridge and then allow them to come up to room temperature for around 2 hours.
Leave the dough covered until you are ready to shape.
To shape, dust with a little flour and rest for a couple of minutes before one at a time rolling them - or if you're confident, throwing them - to make a delicious thin pizza base.
Turn the oven to as high as it will go and leave to heat up whilst you top your pizza with your choice of toppings.
Once the oven has heated, place your baking stone or tray in the oven until piping hot.
Once hot, remove the tray from the oven and carefully place your pizza on the hot stone/tray and pop it back in the hot oven until golden and crisp.
Enjoy hot and fresh out the oven!
