Hot Honey is a brilliantly simple combination of honey and chilli peppers, creating a deliciously sweet, moreishly spicy and all round stellar topping for pretty much any meal. Drizzle it on top of your stonebaked pizzas, add it to a tasty salad dressing, or use it to marinade your BBQ meat. 

This recipe by Grace and Ryan of The Little Holding in Somerset demonstrates how incredibly quick and easy it is to pull together. 



  • Finely chop or grind (if dried) your chillies.

    Place the chillies in a pan with the honey. Boil together on a low heat for roughly 5 minutes, until the honey starts to take on the colour of your chosen chilli. 

    Strain into a bowl. Add a dash of vinegar, both for flavour and to help preserve the honey for longer.
