      • Even the name is rather unglamorous, but as unrefined as they are, these traditional Butcher's Faggots are packed with hearty flavour and goodness. 

        Made using minced trim and offal of our Native Breed Pork, including liver, hearts and lung, alongside a blend of herbs and spices, and a glug of quality cider for elevated flavour. 

        Think of them like a giant meatball, and serve with a dollop of mashed potato, veg and lashings of tasty gravy for a flavoursome, thrifty feast.

      • Liver, Heart, Lung, Native Breed Pork Fat, Oats (GLUTEN), Salt, Pepper, Nutmeg, Garlic Puree, Mixed Herbs, Cider.
      • Heat butter or oil in a frying pan and brown the faggots on all sides for about 5-7 minutes. This will add flavor and help them hold their shape. Transfer the browned faggots to an ovenproof dish. In the same pan used to brown the faggots, melt butter, and whisk in the flour to make a roux. Gradually add the beef stock while whisking to avoid lumps. Season with salt and pepper. Pour the gravy over the faggots in the dish. Cover the dish with foil and bake for about 40-45 minutes, until the faggots are cooked through

        • All of our meat is delivered frozen ready to pop straight into your freezer, once defrosted these can be kept in the fridge for up to 3 days.

      All Pipers Farm meat is blast frozen at the perfect moment, locking in important nutrients and guaranteeing it tastes amazing. We deliver everything to your door in sustainably sourced, recyclable packaging. Our properly free range meat is carefully wrapped in a fully home compostable, 100% British sheep's wool pouch to keep it in perfect condition during delivery. Should any of your meat thaw during delivery; you can safely refreeze it and keep it frozen for up to 6 months. When you're ready to cook up a feast, you can speedily defrost most of our meat in 15 minutes (larger joints take a little longer). Simply place the items still in their individual packaging into cool water and they will carefully thaw.
