Our chickens live a proper life with plenty of running, flapping and foraging amongst our lush Devon pasture. This means they develop a proper carcass and real wings. Slow-growing our birds to natural maturity means our wings are much larger than most.

When your meat arrives simply pop it into your freezer.
When you have chosen what you would like to eat, drop your items, still in their individual packaging into cool water and wait for 15 minutes until they are fully thawed. Once fully thawed remove the packaging and get cooking.
You can also gently thaw any items by leaving them in the fridge or at room temperature.

Notes from the kitchen
Preheat the oven to 180C.
Lightly season and drizzle the chicken wings with oil, any rub or marinated you want to use.
Place on a baking tray and bake in the oven for 35-40 minutes.
If you are using a marinate or rub containing honey or sugar, turn down the oven to 160C half way through cooking, or cover the wings with a little tin foil.
Alternatively our chicken wings are delicious sizzled on the barbecue. Place over hot coals and cook for 20-30 minutes, turning regularly to stop the skin from burning.
