Made from cured, slowly grown, native breed pork back fat.
Our Lardo has a smooth, buttery texture and adds the most incredible flavour to so many dishes. Incredibly popular in Italy, as it should be, this stuff is delicious.
Our secret weapon for making the most mouth-watering roast potatoes. Also great sliced and melted over vegetables or on toast.
Free Range Pork Fat, Basil, Oregano, Marjoram, Thyme, Salt, Demerara Sugar, Sugar Cane Molasses, Sugar
Herbs - Packed in an area that handles (CELERY) (WHEAT) (SESAME) (MUSTARD) (SULPHITES) and (SOYA).
Make sure the lardo is fully thawed.
Slice into small cubes and place in a roasting dish or frying pan.
Cook until the fat has rendered into mostly oil.
