      This recipe makes the perfect festive canapé - delicious, bite-sized, incredibly moreish mouthfuls that are ready in minutes.

      Here, we've used our lovely Coppa by our friends Somerset Charcuterie, but it could be swapped for Prosciutto or Parma Ham and would work just as well. 

      A lovely choice for festive gatherings this season.

      Ingredients

      • 120g
        Coppa
      • 2
        Pears, fairly firm
      • 2 tablespoons
        Honey
      • 2 teaspoons
        Pink peppercorns

      Method

      • Place your griddle pan over a medium-high heat. 

        Meanwhile, quarter and core your pears, then slice each quarter in half lengthways. 

        Once your griddle pan is hot, chargrill the pear wedges on each side until they have nice brown stripes. Allow them to cool to room temperature.

        Portion down your pears into bite size pieces, wrap in the Coppa, securing with a cocktail stick. 

        Finish with a generous drizzle of honey and sprinkling of pink peppercorns.
