Slow Food's prestigious annual awards invites the public to nominate their favourite growers, bakers, fishmongers, cheesemongers, butchers & more to choose the nation's favourite slow food producers and vendors & we here at Pipers Farm are thrilled that the public have voted for us as their Butcher of the Year, recognising our outstanding commitment to quality food.
What is really special about these awards is that they are truly democratic, with no prior shortlisting. Ever since we were founded 30 years ago, our community of farmers, suppliers & family has been at the heart of everything that we do. Today, the Pipers Farm family embraces 40 family farms, all helping us in our mission to produce healthy food that tastes good. It means the world to us that our customers, in buying from Pipers Farm & by nominating us for these awards, are helping us to sustain these traditional values as part of a vibrant and sustainable rural community.

We, as have all of our customers, have had such a rollercoaster of a year and to be awarded Best Butcher of the Year is such an honour. It is brilliant to see that the hard work of our farmers & our team to be rewarded in such a way.
