Our 100% Grass Fed Braising Beef is ideal for dishes that require a moderately slow cook. Within just a couple of hours, you'll have tender, yielding meat with rich deep flavour. 

Braising Beef is perfect for creating the most delicious hearty pies and stews as it has such a rich, deep flavour, with a meltingly tender texture, once the meat has been slowly cooked.

100% Grass Fed Beef

To defrost the braising beef, place into a bowl of cool water (still in its packaging) and leave for approximately 10 minutes. 

Preheat a fan assisted oven to 150C.

In a bowl place a handful of plain flour, lightly season the flour with salt and pepper and toss the braising beef through the flour.

Add some Beef Dripping or Ghee to a castiron pot and place on a medium-high heat. Add the braising beef to the pot and carefully brown. Remove the braising beef from the pot and set aside. 

To the pot add a few halved shallots and cook until soft. Add a small handful of garden herbs, a couple of cloves of garlic, a glass of red wine and a pouch of Beef Stock. 

Return the beef to the pot and place the lid on top. 

Move the pot into the oven and cook for 2-3 hours, until the beef is beautifully tender.
