River Cottage & Hollis Mead, Organic Strawberry Kefir

A gut loving Strawberry Kefir made with Organic, 100% Grass Fed milk and 28 live cultures. 

Hollis Mead Dairy's grass fed cows are milked just once a day. Their healthy, nutritious organic milk is fermented with probiotic cultures to create a thick luscious kefir. The organic kefir is then blended with purée of organic strawberries for a subtle fruity flavour. No sugars are added as the delicious natural milk and strawberries are sweet enough. These delicious recipes were created by River Cottage's Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall in partnership with Hollis Mead. 

Hollis Mead Dairy is based just 40 minutes from Pipers Farm in neighboring Dorset. On the Organic certified farm you'll find a herd of Friesian cows who happily graze acres of grass and wildflowers. The team at Hollis Mead are passionate about sustainability, with projects such as laying over 35 miles of traditional hedgerows and grass management practices that allow nature to thrive all part and parcel of farm life. Working with Dorset Wild Life Trust the team has counted over 300 different species of butterfly, beetle, bees and bush crickets. The farm is also a haven for declining species; Skylarks, barn owls and hedgehogs. This is dairy that makes a difference.
